By placing a reservation, accepting delivery, or using rented equipment, the Renter agrees to the following terms:

EQUIPMENT OWNERSHIP & CONDITION

All mobility scooters and equipment remain the property of Goldynwell Homecare Supply & Mobility. Equipment is delivered clean, sanitized, and in good working condition. The Renter agrees to inspect the equipment upon delivery and notify us immediately of any concerns.

Other equipment rates remain as listed in your website pricing table for consistency (wheelchairs, strollers, baby items, etc.). The rental period begins at the agreed delivery time and ends at the scheduled pickup time.

DELIVERY LOCATIONS

We deliver to:

  • Hotels
  • Cruise terminals
  • Airport meet-up locations
  • Airbnb and private residences

If equipment is left with hotel staff, concierge, or building management at the Renter’s request, responsibility transfers fully to the Renter once delivery is confirmed. Renter must coordinate timely pickup prior to cruise departure. Failure to meet at agreed time may result in additional fees. For Airbnb deliveries, host approval must be secured. If access is denied, redelivery fees may apply.

USER RESTRICTIONS

Equipment shall not be:

  • Operated by anyone under 18
  • Used under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Used in flooded streets, standing water, or heavy rain
  • Used off-road or on unsafe terrain
  • Operated beyond manufacturer weight limits

Water damage voids any damage waiver and may result in full replacement charges.

DAMAGE & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Renter assumes full responsibility for all equipment from the time of delivery until it is returned and inspected by Goldynwell Homecare Supply & Mobility.

Replacement Value of Mobility Scooter: $899

By completing the reservation, the Renter authorizes Goldynwell to charge the card on file for:

  • Repair costs
  • Replacement parts
  • Full replacement value if equipment is non-repairable, lost, or stolen
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Late return fees
  • Loss of use if the equipment cannot be re-rented due to damage

No security deposit is required. The card on file must remain valid and authorized for potential post-rental charges.
A police report must be filed within 24 hours for any theft claim.
Photos may be taken at delivery and pickup to document the condition of the equipment.

DAMAGE WAIVER

$25 PER ITEM (NON-REFUNDABLE)

The optional Damage Waiver reduces liability for minor accidental damage only.

Covers:

  • Light scuffs
  • Small cosmetic scratches
  • Minor marks not affecting safety or operation

Does NOT cover:

  • Theft or loss
  • Water damage
  • Structural damage
  • Cracked, bent, or broken parts
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Excessive dirt or bodily fluids

If the Damage Waiver is not purchased, the Renter is fully responsible for all damage, including minor cosmetic damage.
Each waiver applies to one individual item.
The Damage Waiver is not insurance.

GOLDYNWELL HOMECARE SUPPLY & MOBILITY

CLEANING POLICY

Equipment must be returned in reasonably clean condition. Items returned with excessive dirt, sand, food residue, stains, or bodily fluids beyond normal use will incur a $20 cleaning fee per item. Professional sanitation or deep cleaning may result in additional charges, including loss of use.

LATE RETURNS

Equipment is due at the agreed pickup time.
Late returns will incur a $50 per day fee.
Equipment more than three (3) days late without communication may be considered unreturned and subject to full replacement charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • 48+ hours before delivery: Full refund minus $10 processing fee
  • Within 48 hours: 75% refund minus processing fee
  • Same-day cancellations: Up to 100% charge
  • No refunds once equipment has been delivered

Payment processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 or as determined by the processor) are non-refundable.

FRAUD & PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION

By placing a reservation, the Renter confirms:

  • The payment method is authorized and belongs to them
  • Identification may be required at delivery
  • Disputed charges or chargebacks will be contested with signed agreements, delivery confirmation, communication logs, and condition photos

Use of unauthorized payment methods may result in cancellation and legal action.

WAIT TIME POLICY

A 15-minute grace period is allowed for delivery and pickup.
If the driver waits 30 minutes or more, a $40 waiting fee may apply.

BATTERY RESPONSIBILITY

Scooters are delivered fully charged.
Renter must:

  • Keep charger with the scooter
  • Plug into a working outlet
  • Ensure charging indicator lights are on

Service calls after 24 hours may incur a $40 service fee.

LIABILITY

Renter assumes all risk of injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the equipment.
Goldynwell Homecare Supply & Mobility is not liable for personal injury or property damage unless caused by gross negligence.
Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Goldynwell Homecare Supply & Mobility from claims arising from equipment use.

TEXT MESSAGE CONSENT

By placing a reservation, the Renter consents to receive text messages regarding booking confirmations, delivery updates, pickup reminders, and customer support.
