Everything you need to know about renting from Goldynwell Homecare
Rental Agreement Summary
Renter Eligibility
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid government-issued ID required
- Credit card required for authorization
- Renter responsible for equipment during rental period
Rental Period
- Rental begins at delivery time
- Rental ends at scheduled pickup time
- Late returns subject to additional daily charges
- Extensions subject to availability – contact us in advance
Equipment Use
- Use equipment only as intended per manufacturer guidelines
- No modifications to equipment permitted
- No water exposure to electronic equipment
- Not permitted for off-road use or parade congestion
Responsibility & Liability
Renter Eligibility
Renter Responsibility: Renter is responsible for loss, theft, or damage to equipment during the rental period.
Liability: Renter agrees to hold Goldynwell Homecare Supply & Mobility harmless from any injury claims resulting from equipment use.
Documentation: Photo documentation is completed at delivery to verify equipment condition.
Standard Liability Coverage Includes:
- Minor cosmetic damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Lost or broken keys
Does NOT Cover:
- Theft
- Water damage
- Negligence
- Major structural damage
Optional Damage Waiver – $25
Provides additional protection and reduces liability for accidental damage
Cancellation Policy
48+ Hours Notice:
Cancel 48 or more hours prior to scheduled delivery to avoid any charges. Full refund issued.
Less Than 48 Hours:
Late cancellations may be subject to a one-day rental charge. Store credit may be issued at our discretion.
Missed Appointment / Re-Delivery:
If renter is unavailable at scheduled delivery time, a re-delivery fee of $55 applies. Additional rental day may apply if pickup is delayed.
Weather & Force Majeure Policy
In the event of hurricanes, severe weather, or city-mandated closures, rentals may be adjusted or canceled for safety. Store credit may be issued where applicable. We prioritize the safety of our customers and staff during severe weather events.
Cleanliness & Safety Standards
All equipment is:
- Cleaned and disinfected using hospital-grade products
- Inspected after every rental for safety and functionality
- Fully charged prior to delivery (for powered equipment)
Optional: Express Priority Sanitization – $15
Additional deep-cleaning service for extra peace of mind
